Why meditate after practice

After physical practice take time to meditate and let the energy settle.

Learn to sit and un-do, open yourself up to

LET LIFE HAPPEN”,

to feel the results of your actions, and to observe the flow of energy

After every workout, regardless of its intensity, the body needs to recover. Meditation can help with that and, thereby, reduce the risk of injury. This ancient practice allows you to stay calm and improves the ability to ignore distractions while exhibiting positive effects on the nervous system.

“Particularly after a high-intensity workout,

a period of time devoted to

meditation or mindfulness

can allow the body to rest and recalibrate,” says Dr. Carla Marie Manly, Clinical Psychologist.

“This allows adrenaline levels to decrease while feel-good neurochemicals may increase.”
